Nitram Liquid Charcoal is water-soluble, so you can adjust the values from very light to a deep, rich black. Straight out of the tube, it is as thick as oil paint—you could even use a palette knife. It dries very fast.
“As an artist, I love both painting with oils and drawing with charcoal,” Cesar Santos explains. “Nitram Charcoal had the genius spark of creating paint that is charcoal, or better said, charcoal that can be painted. Now, I feel better equipped when I approach a drawing because I can satisfy my instincts as a painter when I draw. Loving the Liquid Charcoal and I am just getting started.”
