NAMTA’s highest honor, The Hall of Fame Award, is to recognize those who have been supporters, volunteers and champions of the association. This year’s award presentation was held during the annual NAMTA Creativation Art and Creative Craft Materials Tradeshow in Columbus, Ohio.

At GOLDEN, we want artists to be able to focus on creating without worrying about their materials. That’s why we put so much effort into ensuring that our products are of the highest quality. We believe that the key to creating the best art materials lies in rigorous testing and a commitment to performance. We also believe it is important to be transparent about our research and stand behind our products. In this article, we’ll provide some insight into the product development lifecycle and testing methods used at GOLDEN while introducing our new Gloss Waterborne Varnish, a 100% acrylic, removable varnish with UV filtering capabilities. By giving a glimpse into these processes, we hope to share the culture and values that drive everything we do.

QoR Masking Fluid is now Available!
We are pleased to announce that QoR Masking Fluid (7001600-2) resumed shipping on April 1, 2023. You may recall that this is a natural latex product, and as such is not freeze-thaw stable barring us from shipping this product during the winter months. 10th Annual Made in Paint Exhibition Opens April 29th!
The Sam and Adele Golden Foundation is thrilled to announce the 10th, annual Made In Paint exhibition! The 18 artists featured in this exhibit were selected by a group of art professionals in 2021, based on the quality of their work, to attend the 4-week residency program in 2022. This unique residency program focuses on experimentation and exploration of materials, having access to the acrylics, oils, watercolors and now PanPastel Colors made by Golden Artist Colors.
We are excited to open the show on April 29th, in person and to have many of the artists in attendance. A digital catalog will be available on our website, goldenfoundation.org and a virtual gallery will be available at thesagg.org.
