Read on for GOLDEN’s most recent news: international expansion, an exciting new online resource and Just Paint newsletter you know and love coming out at the end of the month.
Material Application Specialists Team Grows Internationally
GOLDEN is pleased to announce the growth of its company internationally with the recent hire of Mirjam Hintz as its new Material Application Specialist for the EU market, based on Frankfurt, Germany. Starting February 1, 2019, Hintz, an artist and paintings conservator with extensive training in GOLDEN products and technical recommendations, will be handling phone calls and email responses in both German and English languages during normal German business hours (9:00 – 17:00). Until now, this service was offered out of the GOLDEN factory and headquarters in Central New York, limiting access to US business hours and English language conversant callers. Now international customers can get their questions answered by Hintz a few different ways. Details regarding how to reach Mirjam can be found on the GOLDEN website.
New Online Resource: Just Paint Experience
January 9 marked the launch of a new outreach platform to artists, the Just Paint Experience – a new expression of GOLDEN expertise centered on the practical needs and perspectives of artists. Where Just Paint offers scholarly depth and detail, Just Paint Experience (JPE) is more quick-reading, studio-oriented content in a variety of forms.
New content will be added regularly with a focus on specific topics or issues each month. January considers the preparation of surfaces for painting and drawing. February will explore grounds and texture. Going farther into 2019, there will be in-store demonstration kits to provide hands-on experiences to match the content available online.
