Launched in 2003 as the new India ink drawing pen for artists, Pitt Artist Pens provide the benefits of using real India Ink without the hassle of cleaning tools after use. It also eliminates the mess accidental spills from ink bottles can cause. The user just has to take off the cap and they’re ready to go!

Ever since the launch with a few fineliners, the assortment has steadily grown to become a very important pillar of the Faber-Castell Art & Graphic assortment.

Pitt Artist Pens are available in 12 nib varieties with line widths ranging from XXS for a 0.05 mm to the bullet nib with its wide 2.5 mm line.

Artists also enjoy the range of 66 available colors, including 6 metallic colors.

The pens feature pigmented India Inks that are lightfast, acid-free and pH Neutral. The ink is also odorless, waterproof and permanent once dry on porous surfaces. The pens are excellent for building color and achieving a vast array of techniques and details. They work beautifully on all types of papers and canvas. The ink will also not bleed through paper making them ideal for sketchbooks. Pitt Artist Pens are used daily by artists worldwide for illustration, fashion design,  life drawings, portraits, sequential art and canvas paintings. To further their functionality, Pitt Artist Pens are part of Faber-Castell’s unique color matching system made to mix perfectly with other media.

Convenient preselected assortments are available in Pitt Artist Wallets. These carefully curated collections include 4 to 8 pens in a wallet made from recycled plastic. Perfect for on-the-go projects, wallets offer an easy way to get started. Looking for a specific color? Each pen is also available in open stock.
