Spruce up your favorite space with a beautiful ombre mason jar. By using an airbrush, you can paint a seamless gradient of your favorite colors with no brush marks.

Step 1: Prepare your paint
In this example, the two colors we’re using are Wicked Colors Opaque Daylight Blue and a mixture of Daylight Blue and Wicked Colors Opaque White to create a lighter blue color. For each color we’ve added 4030 Balancing Clear to the paint to help the paint stick to the glass surface. Then we added 4011 Reducer into the paint to thin it for the airbrush that we’re using.
Step 2: Paint the first color
Start with the lighter color. Hold the mason jar from the jar opening. Spray first side of mason jar starting at the bottom of the jar. Spray in horizontal strokes until you’ve covered about ¾ of the way up the jar. Turn hand slightly to spray the next side of the mason jar in the same way. Repeat until each of the sides are evenly coated with the first color. Let dry.
Step 3: Paint the second color
Repeat Step 2 using the darker blue color, only this time, hold the mason jar from the bottom of the jar. Start painting from the jar opening and blend the color into the first color as you get about halfway down the jar.
And it’s as easy as that! We added ribbon and flowers to our mason jar for an eye-catching centerpiece bouquet.
